About Me

22136965_10214147014968268_7582159197626971129_oHello! I’m Tiara (SHE/HER/HERS)-  a queer writer, speaker and educator who focuses on leadership and identity development with a social justice lens.

In 2017, I graduated from Rutgers University with a BA in English and minors in Africana Studies and Communications. Now, I am a graduate student in Higher Education and Student Affairs at the Ohio State University where I supervise Resident Assistants, enforce policy and create hall programming as an Assistant Hall Director. I am especially interested in working in organizations and departments that focus on Career Development, Leadership Development and Diversity & Inclusion Initiatives. As a queer woman of color, I bring my passion for advocacy into every position I hold.

Outside of the office, you can typically find me reading a book, planning my next trip, writing in my journal or grabbing bubble tea with a friend.
